What We Believe
At The Summit Community Church, everything we do is built on the good news of Jesus Christ.
We believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and that God raised Him from the dead. His resurrection is the heart of our faith and the source of our hope (1 Corinthians 15:3–4). We believe salvation comes only through the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross. It is not earned by our own efforts, but received by grace through faith in Him (Ephesians 2:8–9; Acts 4:12). Because He lives, every person can be forgiven, restored and given new life.
Our Mission: A Two-Pronged Ministry
Our ministry is focused on two callings that work hand in hand:
1. Leading people to Jesus. We want everyone who walks through our doors, and everyone we meet in our community, to hear the good news and come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior. No matter where someone has been, the invitation is open.
2. Making disciples who multiply. Coming to faith is the beginning of the climb, not the end. We are committed to helping believers grow deeper in God's Word, stronger in their walk with Christ, and equipped to share the gospel with others. Our goal is to raise up disciples who go out and make disciples, carrying the message of Jesus to their families, neighborhoods and beyond.
This is the calling Jesus gave His church: "Go and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19). At The Summit, we are answering that call together.
